COVID-19

Conveniently located to serve Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, and Redmond

The spread of COVID-19 in Seattle and around the world has taken a major toll on people’s mental and emotional health. Depression and anxiety are widespread, and it’s become more important than ever to take measures to care for yourself on an emotional and physical level.

Additionally, as a result of pandemic safety practices, our world is more reliant than ever on video communication. This means there is a great deal of focus on the face. With all the concerns regarding health and safety in a COVID-19 world, you shouldn’t have to spend time feeling anxious about your appearance.

Thanks to Yarrow Bay Plastic Surgery’s plastic surgery procedures, injectable treatments, and spa treatments, you can achieve the beautiful, relaxed, and youthful look you deserve to make your next video call anxiety-free.

Plastic Surgery and Fillers

2020 made people feel like they aged a decade in a single year. Cosmetic facial procedures and injectable treatments are an excellent way to help yourself avoid looking as tired as everybody feels these days. Dr. Daniel Liebertz regularly performs facial surgery and administers cosmetic injectables.

Many people are choosing to come in for surgical facial procedures like blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, and facelifts. The downtime and recovery process necessitated by these procedures is much more manageable now that social activities have been temporarily halted. Working from home also makes the recovery process easier.

Others seeking a solution to age lines, wrinkles, and volume loss come in for injectables like Botox and dermal fillers. Our fillers can also enhance the lips for a fuller appearance. Patients looking for a non-surgical way to contour away a double chin choose Kybella, another injectable treatment.

Facial Treatments

Our Master Aesthetician, Yaicha, is available to administer a wide variety of aesthetic facial and skin treatments:

  • Wearing a mask is essential for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Unfortunately, frequent use of mask can also result in “maskne,” exacerbated acne breakouts on the face. This is a result of friction, humidity, oil, saliva, and sweat. Stress and changes in diet can also lead to breakouts. Our Acne Treatment facial is an ideal solution for maskne, as are many of our customized chemical peels.
  • Staying inside all the time can result in a lack of vitamin D and can also lead to dry skin (often a result of high thermostat settings). Our Fire & Ice Facial offers the deep hydration skin needs, restoring moisture.
  • Because indoor living means no natural exposure to wind, it can result in a lack of natural exfoliation. A dull complexion is also common. Our dermabrasion treatments, facials, and peels are the ideal exfoliation solutions for your skin.

Our COVID-19 Safety Protocols

During the coronavirus pandemic, safety is our primary concern. At Yarrow Bay Plastic Surgery, we are currently seeing patients for plastic surgery, injectables, and med spa treatments. This is in accordance with the safety guidelines of the state of Washington.

We follow strict COVID-19 safety protocols at all times. Two days prior to their appointment, patients will be contacted to screen for coronavirus symptoms. If there is no response, the appointment will be rescheduled.

Capacity in our office is limited. Patients will need to wait in their car and call the front desk. They will then be notified when they can enter. Patients will not be able to bring friends or family members with them to their appointments. Patients will also need to wear masks at all times unless otherwise instructed.

In many cases, virtual videoconferencing appointments will be conducted instead of in-person appointments. These are often ideal for consultations, follow-up appointments, and new-patient visits. All virtual appointments are HIPAA-secured.

Virtual appointments allow patients to greatly reduce the risk of contraction or transmission of COVID by avoiding travel. This is especially vital for older patients and patients with autoimmune conditions.

All of these new safety protocols are for the benefit of our patients and our local community. Certain services may be limited as a result of safety concerns.
