A lovely 43 year-old female came to see Dr. McMillan with complaints of neck, upper back and shoulder pain due to her large breasts. She suffered from frequent rashes underneath her breasts as well. After trying chiropractic and physical therapy without any alleviation of her symptoms, she decided to see a Plastic Surgeon for a reduction. This patient lost a significant amount of weight starting in 2010 after having the Lap Band Surgery, however she did not lose anything from her breasts.
Dr. McMillan performed a bilateral mammoplasty reduction and removed 930 g of tissue from the right breast and 979 g from the left breast.
Post op photos were taken 12 weeks after surgery. This patient went from a bra size of 40 L to a 38 D and could not be happier. She feels great and the pain is gone. Her scars will continue to get lighter as time progresses.
