Dermal Fillers

One of the most popular facial rejuvenation procedures available today, dermal fillers can help sculpt rounder cheeks, fuller lips, smooth facial contours, soften fine lines and wrinkles, and fill that hollowed under-eye look.

Used to help restore lift and fullness to areas in the face that experience natural volume loss and sagging over time, dermal fillers have revolutionized cosmetic facial surgery.

Ideal Candidates for Dermal Fillers

Patients who are reluctant to undergo a surgical facelift are ideal candidates for dermal filler injections. Good candidates are looking to treat the signs of aging in their face, including wrinkles, folds, and volume loss.

Patients who want to enhance the fullness of facial areas such as the cheeks and lips are ideal candidates for dermal fillers. Patients with realistic expectations are the best candidates.

Dr. Liebertz’s “Needleless Injection” Technique

Dr. Liebertz has developed a specific “needleless injection” using micro-cannulas to artfully inject the filler in a safer, more controlled manner with less bruising and less down time. He has had extensive training with many different filler products, and was an apprentice to one of the pioneers of micro-cannula filler techniques.

Dermal fillers are an excellent way to temporarily improve a number of issues. They can address hollowed temples, flattened cheeks, deepening laugh lines, and even “smoker’s lines” around the mouth.

Depending upon the desired result, various dermal fillers may be used in different areas of the face, including Juvederm, Restylane and RHA product families. Each filler option is specifically designed to offer unique benefits. Some are better for restoring lost cheek volume, while others are better for filling deep or moderate facial wrinkles.

Dermal Filler Options

Our patients can choose from the following dermal fillers:

  • Juvederm – The Juvederm product line consists of several hyaluronic acid fillers, each specialized for specific uses. These fillers are very popular for smoothing away wrinkles and adding volume to facial areas such as the cheeks and lips.
  • Restylane – Restylane products are HA fillers used to reduce facial wrinkles and folds, enhance the lips, and more. Certain Restylane products are used to restore volume in the cheeks and the backs of the hands.
  • RHA – The RHA, or resilient hyaluronic acid, Collection includes fillers recommended to treat fine, moderate, and severe dynamic facial wrinkles. Unlike other fillers, certain RHA fillers are ideal for crow’s feet, glabellar lines, and other fine wrinkles.
  • Radiesse – Radiesse is a filler composed of CaHA (calcium hydroxylapatite). It adds volume and structure to facial areas and is used to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.
  • Belotero – Belotero is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler. It is effective in reducing lines and folds in facial skin.
